This great festival is held at Mars Hill University.  A whole day of music, food, arts and crafts on the campus mall; a old fashion Ballad and Story Swap and other special events celebrating the 100th anniversary of the English Folk Song Collector Cecil Sharp's visit to the singers of Madison County NC.  An evening indoor concert begins at 7:00 PM featuring the finest musicians and singers the Appalachian Mountains have to offer.
